Standard Work

Improvement cannot be achieved without the foundation of standard work. Standardization is the basis for continuous improvement, not work standard. In lean, standard work means focusing on reducing waste within the system. Standard Work includes looking at people, equipment and materials to describe the current most efficient sequences, locations and practices. Simple instructions, uniform and standard method are the result of Standard Work.
