Galleries in Insa-dong

Art galleries started appearing in Insa-dong in the 1970s and presently account for more than 70 shops. Galleries in Insa-dong display and sell modern art pieces as well as antiques. Some galleries sell a variety of amateur and professional’s artwork.

Kyung-In Art Gallery is an art house with three indoor exhibition halls, one outdoor exhibition hall, a traditional tea house and a garden.

Tong In Store exhibits and sells traditional and modern crafts made with metals. ceramics and dyed, woven rice paper.

Insa Art Center is an art complex with four exhibition halls.

Gana Art Gallery sells traditional items.
